Route 1A
Name:- Visit the Purton Hulks Start:- Layby on A38 just north of Newport Distance 43miles A fairly flat ride going via Frampton on Severn and Slimbridge. Route 3A
Name:- One Tree Hill from North Curry Start:- Stoke St. Gregory Baptist Church Distance:- 34 miles A gentle, undulating ride via North Curry, through Hatch Beauchamp to One Tree Hill and the Burrow Hill Cider Brandy distillery. Route 4A
Name:- Wander into Wiltshire Start:- Meet 10.30am Baileys Barn Car Park Bradford-on-Avon BA15 1BX (on the southern outskirts, off Moulton Drive). Cost for the day is £5, loos available nearby. Distance:- 33 miles The ride starts along the Kennet & Avon towpath before turning north, following mainly country lanes to Lacock where drinks, refreshments & loos are available. If you have a National Trust card, bring it with you. There'll be an opportunity to have a look round the village.(as seen in Harry Potter, Wolf Hall, Cranford, Downton Abbey etc). We'll continue along country lanes to the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon for a picnic lunch stop by the River Avon (bring sandwiches). Loos available. We now ascend the banks of the Avon Gorge via Avoncliff & Freshford where there will be opportunities to push your bike up a couple of short, sharp hills! We then descend to the much photographed Dundas Aqueduct and return to the start along the canal towpath where there is an interesting selection of canal boats. gpx file:- |

Route 5A
Name:- Tour de Taunton Start:- North Curry Village Hall Distance:- 35 miles 35 miles and 1900 feet of ascent, an interesting rolling route with no major hills. Coffee stop half way at Sheppy's Cider Farm. gpx file:- |

Route 6A
Name:- Stourhead to Longleat Start:- Stourhead NT Car Park Distance:- 26 miles Ride through the estate, past Stourhead House, and a gentle cruise down Gare Hill, along Forest Road (with shade, logs and view to Horningsham) and enter Longleat Estate (no charge for cyclists passing through). There is a spectacular 1km ride down the South Drive to the front of Longleat House with its fountains and huge lion sculpture, followed by a scenic ascent out of the estate with wild animals in the distant safari park area and a great view back over the house and estate. On towards Shearwater Lake, where there is a cafe, then on lanes through Maiden Bradley and Kilmington back to the start. gpx file:-

Route 9A
Name:- Caldicot Loop Start:- Caldicot Castle Distance:- 28 miles Awayday Ride for Welsh Cakes Starting at the free car parking at Caldicot Castle, NP26 4HU , where there are toilets and a playground for those who need either. We ride anticlockwise following undulating Sustrans routes 4 and 42 to Shirenewton then divert on lanes to Wentwood reservoir and great views over the Bristol Channel towards Portishead. After a cafe stop halfway round we descend to the Caldicot levels and pick up route 4 again for a flat ride back to Caldicot Castle country park. Entry to the castle is free. gpx file:-

Route 10A
Name:- South Somerset Loop from Ham Hill Start:- Large free Country Park car park at the top of Ham Hill, TA14 6RW Distance:- 33 miles The ride starts with a plummet back down the hill to Stoke-sub-Hamdon, clockwise on past Montacute House and through a series of pretty golden hamstone villages till we reach the bike-friendly Feed Station cafe at Merriott. Returning east we arrive at Norton-sub-Hamdon, via Chiselborough and Odcombe to approach from the other end of the ridge, 2250 feet elevation. gpx file:-
